Exploring POCUS Diversity

Exploring POCUS Diversity' will show you how a diverse variety of critical care providers are using point of care ultrasound in a variety of different settings. Facilitated by Dr Amanda Collins, this session will take you on a journey into the rural hospital setting followed by a guided tour of POCUS for emergency & acute care in resource-limited settings (PEARLS) focussing on outreach activities including those in Vanuatu & Tonga and a look toward the future. A deep dive into prehospital POCUS, built on education, infrastructure, quality assurance and patient safety will demonstrate how ultrasound can become part of a paramedic's diagnostic and procedural tool kit.
